Spring & Summer activities for the family in and around the Tucker area

As a mom of two littles (4 & 2) my daily goal is to get out of the house because if we aren’t home we can’t make more messes!

So I have become a self proclaimed pro at finding events and destinations in and around our community perfectly catered to our family and others just like mine! I want to share some of these thing with you in hopes that you can enjoy one or two as well. This is a dynamic list, so check back for updates as Summer time nears. Hope to see you around town!

  • The Troubadour Project, a 70’s rock revival band plays live in Tucker at the Church Street Greenspace @7PM

  • Tucker Day is from 9AM-4PM

    “First Christian Church of Atlanta sponsors and runs our Kids area - Kid Zone! featuring rides, games, and activities - FUN for the small fry!”

  • 1-4 PM with author Valerie Thompkins

  • “Join us in Lilburn City Park the second Tuesday of the month May – October from 6-9 pm for Food Truck Tuesday. Enjoy a picnic dinner from one of the many Food Trucks and listen to live music at the bandshell. “

  • Movies start at 7PM at the Church Street Greenspace

  • “Join DJ Matt for a kid’s dance party at the Splash Pad Saturday May 25th from 12pm- 3pm. Family friendly tunes, lots of fun, and games.

    The Splash Pad at Lilburn City Park will open for the season at 12 pm on Saturday May 18th. “

  • “The South’s oldest balloon event and the United States’ only long distance hot air balloon race will begin (weather permitting) with a mass ascension of around 20 bright and colorful hot air balloons, in North Georgia’s Alpine Village – Helen. Race competitors and local flyers will take to the sky at 7:00 am, Thursday, May 30, 2024. If the weather conditions are too windy or storms are forecast, the take off will be postponed until conditions are acceptable.”

  • 5:30- 6:30 on the Lawrenceville Lawn

  • Part of Lilburn’s Rock the Park series. Gates open at 6PM and Music starts a 6:30

  • The Wildflowers, a Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers tribute band starts at 7:00 at the church street greenspace

  • Migration starts a 7:00 at the Church Street Green

  • 5:30- 6:30 on the Lawrenceville Lawn
